HEINRICH! Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
In 1981, minimalist synth pioneer HEINRICH! fled from East Berlin to West Berlin. This act of heroism is in no way diminished by the fact that, at the time, HEINRICH resided in Berlin, Pennsylvania.
